Ravenna Third Place Books | this great neighborhood bookstore is where recess monkey cut its live show teeth! tons of local storytellers and musicians play on saturday mornings Island Books | independently owned by the fabulous page family, this bookstore is like our "inside man" on mercer island! (a nice place to get good book recommendations too!) All For Kids Books | another great seattle-area bookstore. lots of music acts have played their storytelling room. World Cup Espresso | right across the street from ucds, this cafe knows how to part lunch hour educators with a coffee dollar or two... great local kids' music
Sam's Rot'n Pot'n Band | a really, really fun vancouver b.c. based pirate band. we played with them once and hope to again! Board of Education | great songs from the kids' arm of central services, a popular seattle band.

recording/ mastering/duplication: Jack Straw Studios | jack straw is a neat independent recording studio in the heart of the university district. they regularly sponsor bands for free recording time and are totally committed to the artistic integrity of a project Rick Fisher & Ed Brooks @ RFI CD mastering | ed brooks could be called the fourth recess monkey- he takes our homespun album recordings and adds a thick layer of cool on top. seriously, he's the coolest person any of us have met. Jupiter Studios | jack and drew's old band recorded here. it's a really nice room in wallingford for a reasonable rate. Discmakers | we duplicate through discmakers. |

The Northwest Choirs | jack is an alumnus of the northwest boychoir and now sits on the board of the choirs. an unreal music education with great teachers and peers! Rob Hampton | simultaneously the nicest and van-halen-iest guitarist in town. rob teaches guitar lessons, singing and even has time to play "sick licks" on songs of ours.
